Duties and Responsibilities: Treat patients with skeletal injuries and diseases. Perform orthopedic surgeries as per established guidelines. Utilize medical equipment and tools effectively to avoid any accidents. Work with Nurses, ER Physicians and other hospital departments to ensure excellent patient care services. Recommend proper diagnostic tests to identify patient’s illness. Analyze patient’s symptoms and develop treatment plans. Monitor and record patient’s progress according to documentation guidelines Educate patients about treatment procedures. Maintain up-to-date records of patient services and treatment procedures. Communicate with patients to obtain their medical history. Assess patient’s health condition and prescribe appropriate medications. Address patient and staff concerns in a timely manner. Attend regular staff meetings to discuss about any issues or updates. Guide clinical staffs in their assigned job duties.
Salary: $512,000,
Education: understanding of current medical technologies, medical ethics, pharmacology and physiology. 4-year bachelor's degree program in biology, pre-medicine or a related field, aspiring orthopedic surgeons must complete four additional years of medical school, followed by a 4- to 5-year orthopedic surgery residency in a hospital. The first year of residency usually covers general surgery, with the remaining years devoted to orthopedic-specific training. Surgeons wishing to specialize further in subspecialties, such as orthopedic sports medicine or pediatric orthopedics, must also complete a 1- to 2-year fellowship after their residency.

Orthodontist
Duties and Responsibilities: a specialty within the dental profession, involves straightening teeth and correcting bites. As an orthodontist, you are responsible for locating problems with the positioning of patients' teeth and with their oral development. You might use x-rays or plaster molds of your patients' teeth to do this.
Salary: Hundred Thousand Five Hundred dollars per year. 
Education: In order to become an orthodontist, students need to complete four years of dental school. Coursework in dental school includes anatomy, physiology and microbiology, as well as classes that apply more specifically to orthodontics, such as dental anatomy and occlusion, pediatric dentistry and dental materials

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
Duties and Responsibilities: Job Description. Perform surgery and related procedures on the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial regions to treat diseases, injuries, or defects. May diagnose problems of the oral and maxillofacial regions. May perform surgery to improve function or appearance.  
Salary: $252,910

Education: The surgical residencies for oral and maxillofacial surgeons are usually four to six years. After completion of the residency, surgeons can take a written and oral exam to become board certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery. The second path is to earn dual degrees as both a dentist and medical doctor.

Duties and Responsibilities: High school diploma required, training programs and associate degrees available

Salary: $11/hr 30,904

Education: To become an optometric technician, you should at least have your high school diploma. An optometric technician training program or 2-year, associate degree will make you more competitive as an optometric technician. Common courses to help you prepare for a career in optometry include anatomy, physiology of the eye, optics, optometric procedures and optical devices.
